How it's done from start to finish one by one....

At DEAN we use only the finest titanium available:- U.S. made 3/2.5 seamless, cold worked, stress relieved - grade 9 titanium.

Each and every DEAN frame is handcrafted one by one, in our own factory in Boulder, Colorado. We cut every tube with precision Machine tools to assure proper frame into the fixture. After the building process - every tube is hand filed and cleaned prior to the weld process.

We take great pride in every weld on our (your) frame.

1.) Each and every frame is first "root" or "fusion" welded in our precision aligned fixture

2.) After the "root/fusion" weld our welders work there magic with a 6/4 titanium rod cap pass

3.) On every DEAN you're assured only the most structurally sound welds - as well as perfect cosmetics.

After weld, each and every DEAN is aligned to a 1.0mm standard and must pass our D.Q.C. process before going on to frame finishing - this assures only the straightest frames make it out of our doors.

Just a few testimonials

" Love the bike (El Diente) - It's the first bike I have owned that doesn't flex when I stomp on it." - Jim

" This is the best bike I have ever had (El Diente)!" - Lee

" I have owned several bikes over the years, mainly road bikes. Have seen Dean's out on the road and their riders always seem to be happy with them, The frames always looked to be built well - nice that you don't see them on every corner as well!" - Craig

" Thank you for the fine ride (Duke) - better than I had anticipated - keep up the great work!!! " - Mitch

" Just wanted to say thanks again for the bike (El Diente) - the ride is super smooth - what ever you guys do with your choice of tubing, geometry, the bike is still a great climber. the El diente has a much better feel to it than the ........ Catalyst that I previously owned. - John

" Given my size and weight, stiffness of this area on a ti bike was a concern of mine.  The oversized down tube clearly did the trick in stiffening this area.  Bike (El Diente) seems to be very stiff laterally and responds well to rider input Overall, I am very pleased with my bike and feel that it is was excellent value for the price you charged.  In my estimation, craftsmanship of the frame is excellent, and is comparable to frames that cost 2-3 times more. " - Mike

" I'm from Bethel, CT.  You made a small Duke for me several weeks ago that had a few mods to the geometry.  I must say the frame is very impressive!  The quality of the welds and the finish were just beautiful.  The frame was built up two days after I received it and I've been riding it ever since (I've had to take some time off as we just received 16" of snow).  All I can say is WOW!  It retains the sprinting and climbing characteristics of oversized Al. but isn't as jarring.  The ti. is really smooth, but not flexy like the YBB I test road.  I can't believe how much difference 1.25" of travel in the rear makes.  On technical climbs that I really had to carefully pick a line on my old bike, I zipped right up today, even though they were crusted in snow!  The bike tracks straight and smooth over the rough stuff.  The fit is spot on and the bike felt like and old friend from the first ride. I could go on and on about all it's positive attributes.  But, I'll just sum it up by saying you've really put out a very fine product at a very reasonable price.  Your professionalism from my first inquiry call to final delivery was something all manufacturers should aspire to. Bravo and keep up the fine work." -Mark

" The Bike (Colonel) Rips!!!!!" - Garren
