The Colonel has been the longest running DEAN model. It was the inspiration to start the company over 30 years ago.  While the mountain bike has seen many changes over the decades, the titanium hardtail continues to be the ultimate!  Our new Colonel has gotten modern updates to meet the needs of the today’s mountain bikes.  We bumped the travel to 130mm (don’t worry XC racers we still make XC super bikes!), gave the bike 29”x2.5” clearance with our proprietary engineered 3D printed yoke, and made the it future proof with 6/4 ti UDH dropouts.  Whether you are cranking out a hot lap on your favorite local trail, taking on Downieville, or adventuring the C.T. the Colonel is perfect no BS hardtail.
